Xbox one pad always breaking

I swear to god every 2 months i have to buy another xbox one pad because i cant hear nothing trough my headset. Yes ive tried to turn up the volume and everything. they literally just break all the time. I never had this problem with xbox 360 pads i had
one that lasted me 4 years but now i have to spend £50+ Every 2-3 months to buy another.

And because of me not being able to hear anything through my mic i have to wiggle it around inside the pad until i hear the volume from my game as a result my headset breaks aswell and now its a cycles of the pad not working and then buying a new one.

im 17 i dont have money for this its a joke.

I don't know why you are having so many issues with your controllers. I am still using my original one. If they are still under warranty then you can contact
Xbox Support for assistance.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

In regards to this matter, Standard Xbox One controllers do come with a 90-day warranty from the day they are purchased at a retailer.

That being said, you wouldn't necessarily have to purchased a new accessory if you simply

get your device serviced.

First, sign in at Device Support and then select
Register new device. After you've registered, you’ll see the warranty status for your device. In the
Overview section of the Device repair page, make sure you click
Replace an accessory instead of “Repair my device.” You can then follow the onscreen prompts to place an order.

[/quote]Must admit i was quite surprised when i read the link. Its a customisable pad, you can chop and change the sticks/dpads/weight of the pad. Pretty clever.
