Xbox One Overwatch game server connection issue error (LC-202)

For the past week I have been experiencing issues connecting to Overwatch's game servers.

To combat this issue I have tried:

- Reloading the game

- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

- Checking if my NAT type was open (it is)

-Tested my network and multiplayer connection (it was working)

-I contacted Blizzard they directed me to Microsoft as they couldn't help if I wasn't connected to their game servers

-I restarted my Xbox one multiple times

- Had a look around the Microsoft threads/forms and found a few people having a similar issue throughout 2017, 2016 with no answers to them

-Since I downloaded Overwatch via disk I tried using a different Overwatch disk (I had the same issue)

-I checked if I had any new updates to download for Overwatch (and found none)

-I use a Wi-Fi modem so I use a ethernet cable

I haven't had issues with Overwatch before I have downloaded updates with no issues. I run other games, parties, send messages, post in the community with no issue. I feel it could be an account issue and I don't know how to fix it. I run my Overwatch on
disk I don't know if that could be a reason I have issues.

This will be something for the Overwatch devs to fix as it's game specific.

Would recommend getting in touch with their support/twitter.

the new update came out for Overwatch it automatically downloaded overnight and when I hopped on I could suddenly connect to the servers fine..

This is the exact same for me, ever since I downloaded the new update I have not been able to log onto the Overwatch servers. I also tried on a different account on the same console and it worked perfectly however when I try my account I get the Error Code
LC-202. I've gone back and forth between Microsoft and Blizzard today for 4+ hours over who's end the problem is on and I still have made absolutely no progress.

I hope that they find an issue ofr this so we can play during the Christmas event, I want that new Lucio skin
