Xbox One Overheating With Games Only

Hi There,

I have the original xbox one with the power brick. Recently it has started to turn off while playing any game within 15-20mins. It has no trouble playing Netflix all day. I have opened the xbox to clean/vacuum it as well as the power brick but still no luck.

I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this problem and found a solution before trying to buy a new power brick.

Sorry to hear you are encountering these problems with the Xbox One. In this case if the console does continue turning off on you I would advise that you take a look at the following support article to attempt and troubleshoot your Power Supply Unit.

If this has not resolved the problem then you may simply need a replacement power supply unit.

Could be a overheating issue, since is only happening when you start a game.

Or a issue in the brick. Is the one which have a brick outside (Xbox One FAT)?

Yes, I stated that in the post. I'll try the installing thing, but I don't think I have enough room for it.
