Xbox One "overheating" and crashing error ALL the time

I have been unable to play any game for more than 2 minutes downloaded or disk without the console turning off and giving me the overheating prompt. However, I can keep the system on for hours while I watch Netflix without issue. Additionally, I attempted
to submit this issue to chat but can't send message for help because I won't let me put my name in... Any help is greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating

Multiplayer on project cars 2 on xbox one is a mess!!.
Lobbies crashing way too much!, xbox one makes strange sounds after crashing,. You have to completely start the game again for playing well. Car handling is weird, after a couple of laps the tires become red and overheating.!!
Time for patch 4 and fix the basics on project cars 2 on the xbox one.

Sections 1, and 3 are flashing red

Alternativly Overheating can be cause by the console locking up or "freezing" after a set amount of time. Lockups that occur at a specific point in a game are generally problems with the game itself and not caused by overheating.

3 red lights:

Sections 1, 3, and 4 are flashing red

3 red lights is a "General Hardware failure"

 

That seems like an hardware issue and I suggest you to send that console for repairs:
