Xbox one overall online issue

There is a issue with my Xbox one and more precisely the online. Currently when I go on to my account, the profile image doesn't appear when I first sign in and can only be seen by going on my actual profile. Secondly I can't go on any apps or online activity
in games. For example, when I try to sign into the EA servers on FIFA 15, I can't, and when I try to go on Netflix, it comes up with an error code (0x80070002). This is really frustrating for me as I can't use xbox live which I pay for, and use a lot. I have
tried a lot of things like power cycling the xbox and resetting it but it doesn't work. The connection of my network is definitely good, as it says so and on my Xbox 360, I can still access xbox live, and furthermore online. Has anyone else had this problem,
and know anything that could help? It would be much appreciated

The Xbox One OS: Overall slow performance issue

The Xbox One has been an overall slow performing machine since the first day of purchase. Even after the latest march patch, the OS still seems to chug along at a snails pace. Moving from game to home, pins, the store, and all general button presses take
an extrordinarily long time to execute.

I have ruled out all other possible causes like Internet speed or latency onset from the television. I do not use
Instant On at all due to major technical issues that come with it. More research online and it is quick to realize how this issue is fairly widespread and agreed on: Simply that the OS and hardware cannot keep up with basic functions and tasks, like
opening a friends list or any other application without sitting and thinking about it for awhile, even tapping a single A button visualy lags on the screen before seeing the execution. Hopping back to the 360 and these issues dissapear. Hard resets occasionaly
bring back a little performance but are not a solution.

Is there any response to this issue?

Are there planned performance tweaks?

If a microsoft mod replies, are you aware of this issue?

I do not experience any of these performance issues. My console is snappy and very responsive. Not sure what would be causing your issues but I hope you get them resolved soon. Good Luck!

I'm on my xbox 360 right now and I'll give you what it says on configure settings > Basic settings:

Network Name (SSID) :[Mod Removed]

Wireless Mode: 802.11n

Network Type: Infrastructure (Channel 11)

Wireless Security: WPA2

 

Actually we will need the brand and model numbers for the router and modem hardware your consoles are connected to. I also went ahead and removed your SSID from the post.

 

Ah okay, the brand is BT, and I believe the model number is BT Home Hub 5, if that is what you meant

 

Yes thanks! Are you comfortable editing the settings on your BT Home Hub? On your PC you will need to open your router software and enable UPnP. Here are some simple steps on how to get there from another thread

here (for your reference).

• Go to advanced settings > home network > devices. Your xbox should be one of the listed connections, click on it. Down at the bottom it will say "Always use this IP Address". Make sure no is selected and click apply
  
• Go to advanced settings >Firewall > UPnP. Make sure both "UPnP" and "Extended UPnP Security" are set to yes and click apply.
  
• Go to advanced settings > Firewall > DMZ. Make sure "DMZ Enable" is set to no and click apply."
  

Make sure the settings match the above and let us know how things go!

 

I looked at everything, and it all seemed to be in order. The same problem occurs. Could it be anything else?

 

Oh man, well let's keep going! Could you disconnect your Xbox 360 console from online completely, and then power cycle your Home Hub for 5 minutes? You can do so by just unplugging the Home Hub from power. After the 5 minutes, plug your Home Hub back in
and try connecting only your Xbox One to online. Hopefully that refreshes the UPnP table. Try going online to play FIFA 15 and see if that works!
