    Xbox one - over 10 min to download a 254 mb file when I have a 30mpbs download connection. WHY?


    I seriously want to know why it takes the xbox one ten times longer to install a file than the 360? What the heck? And no, its not my connection. Its fast........fast enough, at least.

    This is my ONE complaint about the Xbox one: Download or installing from a disk is GOD AWFUL SLOW

    Having slow downloads.

    It took few mins to download a 36 MB file. I have a 10Mbps download speed. That download should take few sec.

    What's up with the market place speeds?

    I have a decent connection, can download @ an average 5-9 Mb/s on the laptop but downloading anything over the marketplace will limit me to 800Kb/s everytime.

    It took me about 3 mins to download a 90 Meg trailer from the marketplace when in that time i would have a 2 Gb file downloaded on my laptop.

    Is there a limit on the xbox servers or summat because honestly i thought getting a faster internet speed would help me download my stuff from the marketplace a lot faster but sadly i was mistaken.

    I am connected over a wired connection.

    Any update on this would be appreciated.

    Hey, MATT! We're currently tracking this type of situation, but we need a few things from you to help us out.

    First, give all of the steps on our Troubleshoot Slow Game or App
    Downloads on Xbox One     page a try. If that doesn't help you out, please post back with your Region, your internet provider, and a screenshot of the advanced settings page for your network here: Settings > Network > Advanced. We'll be able to pass that information
    along to the appropriate people and work on getting this resolved. Xbox one - over 10 min to download a 254 mb file when I have a 30mpbs download connection. WHY? :)

    it seems like almost everyone is having this issue and i am as well i tried everything. and when it a lot of people having the same issue then there got to be a problem with the servers.

    This is not a Physical vs digital version, because Contra was only available as a download on the 360.

    Which issue are you answering, why it takes 10 MB on an Xbox 360 and 450 MB n an Xbox One, or why an Xbox One and and Xbox 360 can't connect to the same game, a 360 BC game, for a co op mathcup?
