Xbox One OS Problems: Not launching games

Hey guys. My xbox one has been active or about a month. However recently ive gone to click on a game and it doesnt launch it or when it does it sits at the title screen forever and doesnt let me progress. THis is worrying as im unsure if its an update thing
or whether my one is busted Ater i turn it off the Xbox logo on the console flashes for about a minute as well, does this mean something?

Cant play Overwatch

I am having problems launching the game on xbox one also, it could me a bug that they havent found yet. But yes, its very frustrating.

Subnautica not launching.

Ive been having the exact same problems whith the trial dose any one own the game and could tell me if the problemof not launching persists

Hi, try power cycling the xbox one (hold power button for 8 seconds) it's known to fix issues like this. The flashing power light when switching off is nothing to worry about, it's meant to do that.

it's a new "feature(bug)" of the new xbox OS. it seems as though when xbox live core services start having problems the system doesn't like to launch games. if you have previously played that game before you can go into offline mode and then launch it. you
won't be able to play online, but it's better than nothing.

but if this is your first time playing a digital purchase you will have to wait until the service comes back up.

For Microsoft.

This is a huge problem! there is no reason launching a game should be tied to your "core services" if the game has already been authenticated for use one that xbox.

What the issue is, is the OS gets corrupted when you attempt to launch an app or game, it tries to launch but gets stuck. Only solution to it is reload the OS and wipe the hard drive clean.

That is not the solution, I get two XBOX one , one was send by Repair Center and both crash to dash. Installing while not connected to the Internet ? What will happen to people that have bought from the market place ? My guess is that there is a problem
with xbox one OS and you can do everything you want, without a proper os firmware it won't work for long. Multitasking is flawed. MS wont acknowledge the problem because they can't make bad publicity at the launch of their new hardware. For now I've decided
to stop playing it and buy games on my PS4.It is really sad because my buddies are on Xone and can't play either without return to dash.
