Xbox One Original won't turn on

My origianl Xbox One (with Kinect) will not turn on. I've read all the existing forums and the power brick reset. Nothing is working.

My Power Brick is solid orange or maybe you want to call it clear.

This new threed adds some new information I have not read in the forums.

1) It makes a Churp sound when you hit the on button.

2) It was working before the April 2020 update. Once it tried to reboot it didn't come back on. I don't think the update caused the issue though because....

3) I've had this issue more then 2 times. Previously, I've unplugged the Kinect, and that sometime brings it back. But not this time.

There are 2 wierd behaviors on the Power Brick.

1) If I unplug the Power from the Wall, while leaving the power cable in the Xbox, the orange LED goes off within 10 seconds.

2) If I unplug the cord from the Xbox first, then the cable from the well the orange LED takes maybe 1 to 3 minutes to go off.

Whatever order I plug everything back in, the churp remains but does not turn on.

I did see 1 post saying to leave the Power Brick off for 10 min. I'll try that next.

Do I buy a new Power Brick or just wait now for newer Xboxes or a "One S" to be further discounted?

I don't think I would even want to spend more the $20 for a new Power Brick for an Xbox over 7 years old.

Any thoughts/suggestions/help appriciated.

If you want to continue to play this generation of Xbox then I would suggest getting and Xbox One S or X, if you can't find a replacement power brick. With the One S there is no power brick, just a cord, eliminating that issue. There are lots of sales
going on for the consoles, or you could even buy a used console at a game store, pawn shop, or ebay.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with console turning on. If possible before purchasing new console or power supply. If you know someone with an original Xbox one you can borrow their power supply see if your console
turns on. Also, you can try out the steps on the guide for
console will not power on.

At this time, it would have to be an online store, LOL.

I'm not a big gamer that needs the X, but a $199 or less S might be what I should get.

1) I had a friend who had an Original

2) I could leave my social distancing to get it

Your best bet is to contact xbox support.

More than likely they'd walk you through a process that can save you from the hassle, or even send a shipping sticker to you to send to them the xbox to get an professional analyzation.
