Xbox One (Original) not turning on

Well, i have had this problem for a while, but i was able to solve it by reseting the power brick or trying to turn the console on with the controller via usb.

But this time, nothing is working!

I have tried all the possible solutions i could find and i still have that infamous orange light laughing at me.

Last time i contacted the support by phone, they couldn't solve the problem and i was able to solve it by letting the power brick off for 10 minutes. Now i just fear that if i call them, they will just say i need to send them my xbox (there is no support
in my city) or to pay for a new one in exchange.

Does anybody know anything that i could do? I just bought Forza Horizon 3 the day this happened and i can't play it!

have power to my xbox but it wont turn on the xbox icon just flashes white then goes off .I have tried resetting the power adapter but still the same when trying to power up just using the control the icon on the controlor keeps flashing at me what do i
do i can even do hard reset of the consol

Sounds like you need to reset the power supply.

If letting the brick cool down for 10 minutes worked last time then the possible culprit may be the brick itself. If you have a friend nearby who has an xbox one console then see if you can use his brick on your console to see if it works. If it does then
you'll need to replace your brick. If it does not then you'll need to send the console in for repairs.

UPDATE:

I borrowed a brick (that works), from a friend and it didn't work.

Anywhere i placed this brick, it had an orange light, even if not connected to the console.

I just don't understand what is happening. Before this happened, a electrician came here to install some new wall sockets, maybe i don't have enough power to the xbox? Does the power brick always have a white light if i connect to the power? Could i measure
the voltage or something to ensure that i have a problem here?

(I just don't want to believe my xbox has a problem, i just got my Forza Horizon 3)

the sockets could be the issue then. try taking your console to your friends house and see if it will power up there. better to be safe and say you've tried everything.

UPDATE 2:

I just connected the original brick today and tried to turn on (not expecting anything), and IT TURNED ON

Now i officially don't understand what is happening

btw i'm happy that i can play Forza Horizon 3

Also i fear that it happens again...

Hello Jeff,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with
console not turning on. If it has overheated significantly, this could of damaged the console extensively, where it will not function properly any longer.

Hi Brad,

The turning off is a common problem with my xbox due to poor ventilation, but it always turns back on automatically by itself. When I turned it off after it restarted as normal, it is now not turning on anymore, instead turning on for a second and turning
itself off again

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. I understand your console is no longer booting up is that correct? Please review this support article and try some of the steps listed withing:

Your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on

You can also plug the console into a different outlet and see if that helps.

If the light on the power supply block is orange not blue/white unplug from the wall and wait for the light to die and plug back in. Sometimes with all the unplugging it reads a power failure and wont power back up.
