    Xbox One original no longer repaired by Microsoft


    i own a Xbox One, original model, and tried to open a repair request (out of warranty), but was informed that is no longer possible to request a repair to this model because it was discontinued.

    I wonder if I buy a Xbox One S or a Xbox One X will I be able to request any repairs if needed after warranty is over.

    Sadly, Microsoft no longer repairs Xbox One Original consoles. You will have to find an electronics repairs shop that repairs Xbox One Original consoles.

    The original Xbox One is no longer supported by Microsoft, so they no longer repair them. Your only option is a 3rd party repair.

    Didn’t know that this policy was regional...

    I’m from Brazil and was informed by Microsoft’s support webchat employee... after trying to create a online service order using my device serial number and all of that (it wasn’t my first time using this feature)

    So my guess is that only here in Brazil the Xbox One original model is no longer supported out of warranty for a fee.

    Nevertheless i was hoping to clarify my doubt regarding the new Xbox One models ...
