Xbox One (original model from a decade ago) keeps turning itself on. A lot.

1, the original xbox one is not a decade old, it is only just past 7 years old.

2, microsoft no longer repair these units and it would be more cost efficient to get a disc version of the xbox one s, or newer.

3, could be that it has an issues with the internal section of the power button, but could be anything.

My first advice is to send it in for repair.

My second advice would be that, when you don't use it, unplug your xbox to prevent it from turning on.

Yes the controller will randomly disconnect by itself. It also turned off when I plugged in one of my headsets.

The controller I mentioned is the normal xbox series controller.

Yes I updated the controller and the problem still continues.

Do you remember if you registered an email or phone number to the account?

If not, the only way to sort this out then is by going to the log in page with a secondary email and once there select “forgot password.” Choosing the “forgot password” option will send you the link to a form . You will need to fill it out and wait for Microsoft to contact you and try to help regain access to theaccount,
