Xbox one original forza edition hard drive issue

Hi all, looking for help with installing a new hard drive into my console. I have already tried alot of different ways but have been very unsuccessful.

I have taken the broken hard drive out of my xbox, and have a replacement to go in. On the new hard drive I have formatted this to ntfs and used a program to partition. I have put osu1 onto the hard drive in folders A and B and copied the relevant files over and also copied the files to a usb stick - no success.

I have downloaded osu2, and done the same thing with that. I am now stuck and don't think it's worth while downloading osu3 as I believe this is for developers. Need help people, I have attached a photo with the OS numbers, thanks in advance.

The Transfer cable is designed solely to move data from one hard drive to another. It is not designed to extract certain saved game files in order to play them.

If you want to play a saved game from that hard drive, simply install the hard drive onto your Xbox.

<edit> I just realized you that you are asking about an original Xbox game. The transfer cable will only work between Xbox 360 hard drives. They will not work with original Xbox hard drives.

Original Xbox games need a hard drive, It's not storage space this is the issue here. Original Xbox games load on the 360 via a software emulator, this emulator is only available via an Xbox 360 hard drive. Don't fall for the mistake of buying a cheap
hard drive from eBay or similar, these drives are fake and are missing the emulation software. The hard drive must be an official one.

Does your Xbox 360 have an official Xbox hard drive installed. If not, then that will be why the game will not work. Xbox originals need the hard drive to play. I am assuming the version of Fable is the original xbox version and not the re-released anniversary
edition for the Xbox 360.

Do you have an original Xbox 360 hard drive? If you've purchased one from a 3rd party retailer like eBay or Amazon Marketplace and it didn't come in the official Microsoft packaging then it's likely to be the cause of the issue.

Only original Xbox 360 hard drives can play original Xbox games. The 3rd party hard drives do not possess the emulation files (and there's no way to download them) to play these original Xbox games. The 3rd party hard drives work with normal Xbox 360 games.
