    Xbox One Operating Problems


    To begin,

    When I turn on the xbox one, for the first time after having it off for a few hours the screen is almost black, and I cannot select any icons.

    After I restart the xbox, the screen is back to normal. Then if i click on the notifications, my xbox freezes instantly. Now I have to restart it again.

    Now that I have turned on the xbox for the third time, i don't click the notifications, i try to go into the settings but they never load it just has the settings icon until i back out of that screen. Also the voice commands do not work anymore. i cant click
    anything without freezing.

    But, i can still play games.

    What is wrong with my box?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Can the Xbox One replace my 3D bluray player (netflix and MKV player?)

    I find the Xbox One far quieter than the PS4 in terms of fan noise, though it's less of a problem during low CPU intense operations like BD playback.

    How do you have your Xbox One power set up? Make sure you have it plugged into a Wall outlet.

    What you may have to do is a factory reset of your system to everything reset on your system.

    best thing about the XBOX One is that you don't lose anything. You jus have to reload your profile and redownload your apps since its attached to your license and download history

    cod 4 is over hacked and now im banned

    One should not have to operate their xbox out of the normal range. Modders are causing these problems and inoccent customers should not be in trouble for getting caught up in a problem they did not create.

    Thank you for coming by the Xbox forums. Where have you seen that the Xbox One has 3 operating systems? As far as I know the Xbox One only has a single operating system since all of the support articles refer to a single operating system and not "operating
    systems" as in plural.

    The Xbox One updates it's operating system periodically every 1-3 months, it just depends on the work the preview team does with testing system update builds and fixing known issues. You can find the operating system versions and the dates they were released

    Thanks RipzKord, I will try this. The only reservation I have about this approach is that its not just one game that stutters its all of them. Is there a way to reinstall the Xbox One operating system - that could be the problem...
