XBOX One operating on minimal functionality

So I turned on my XBOX One. It took forever to sign in. I signed in and noticed there was no XBOX Live so I tested my internet. Connection is fine. I went to the XBOX Service page - no service alerts.

There is a message on the right hand side of the screen saying "Having trouble connecting? It might be a problem on our end. We're working on it."

I can't get any games to play and voice commands not working,

Anyone else having this issue?

Sorry you are having issues.

Did you try connecting your XBOX directly to the modem as suggested?

I did some research on that router and it appears that its functionality and reliability are minimal at best.

 

NEW XBOX WILL NOT SUPPORT USED GAMES?

That's about a rumoured set top box with the Xbox brand name with some minimal functionality. It's also a complete rumour.

Again, why does anyone owe you an apology in the first place?

 

I'm randomly getting disconnected from Xbox live while play BF4 I can not work out if it's live or BF4

 

Ive had this problem too usually turning the xbox one all the way off( not standby) solves the problem for me.

 

Just noticed mine also says this, I'm getting annoyed with this broken rubbish of a x1!

 

With that message, it usually means there is corrupt system cache data. Please hold down the power button on the front of the Xbox One console for 10 seconds until you hear a beep. It should restart and should pull up correctly. If it does not beep or does
not come up correctly, please turn off your Xbox One, unplug the power from the back of the console itself, and let it sit for 10-30 seconds. Then plug it back in and start the Xbox One. It should come up to the home screen after about 45 seconds and should
display your pins and marketplace.
