    Ok so my friend came round and hes connected to my wifi and he can open youtube on my xbox through his youtube app on his phone by going to connect device anyway to turn this off?

    Not sure if you can do anything via youtube, but if you can't trust them with this, you probably shouldn't let them on your wifi.

    Not sure how that's possible, if you're signed into your XboxOne (with your account) at the time. You should have control over it, not him - regardless of the youtube app, on his phone.

    There should be an option on the YouTube app. Go to YouTube app on your console, click settings and then there is an option to pair it to your smartphone. It will generate a number. Enter that number into your YouTube by the app. open the app, go to settings
    and entering the code into your phone and boom, done.

    Same issue here. Possible problem with YouTube rolling out the Red membership? I'm a YouTube Red member by default of being a Google Play Music subscriber. But the app no longer opens for me on the Xbox. Even if I restart the entire console, it's still
    just 20 seconds of the red YouTube sceen, then it kicks back out to the dashboard.

    Tried opening a video on my phone and casting it to the Xbox. Doesn't work either.
