Xbox One - Online Status Unknown

So i tried loading up Rainbow Six Siege to play and it tells me they were unable to get my latest saved data, my first problem. I thought id try turning my account on to appear online, since im always appearing offline, just to see if it would make a difference.
Now when i try appearing online it says 'Online status unknown'. Does anybody have a solution on how to fix this?

My Xbox is being spazzy

I was playing on my Xbox One S and suddenly it kinda spazzed and it won't let me create party's and when I try to change my online status from appearing offline to online it says online status is unknown

I was having the same issue. How ever when I would sign on, there was a game trying to update, and it was stopping me from being able to appear even as a friend in my friends lists. So check your stirage and it might help.

...I fully reset my Xbox and had to reset everything but only to find out there's no more home switches so now me and my friend can play each others games ...

And I don't even get another Home Switch even after asking for one more because of this situation!! This is just outright unfair and a waste of my time.

Since you reset your console, YOUR FRIEND has to set your console as Home Console again. Not you.

Your account can ALWAYS access your own games, no matter on what console you are.

Your friend would have to contact the official support and try to request an additional Home Console change, and then your friend would have to sign into his account on your console, and set your console as his home console again.

So just calm down, and let your friend handle this. You will always be able to access your own games regardless of the Home Console setting.

Its been offline for 6 hours now. Is there any ETA on the fix?

There was a service alert the other day that could have affected things, Usually clearing the MAC address and power cycling the console fixes this. It's just a small glitch that only lasts temporarily.
