Xbox One Online Connection Problems

Hi,

I'm having problems with my wifi connections. My Xbox One says I have a connection with my internet, and all the main page things that require internet load on the page; however when I try to load Destiny, COD Advanced Warfare, or any online multiplayer
game, the games give me an error saying I am not connected to internet and I need to be. I have completely restarted the router and WPS, and have done to same to my Xbox One (kept it unplugged for 5 minutes). Every time I continued to restart the Xbox and
nothing worked. Wifi works for everything else (I am using it right now), but it doesn't work for any mutliplayer games. Any suggestions? Please help!

How's the online gameplay of the Diablo? I have not yet tried it since I have problems with my network connection - but is it any fun? do I need to have Xbox one friends in order to play it online?

Could you please answer the following questions:

- Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?

- What's the make/model of your router?

Then, please go to Settings >> Network and run a Multiplayer Test, let me know of the results.

 

I also Have this Kind of Problems,iam able to go online but cant connect to Friends and John their Games or they Mine! So openenddiskussion the Network Settings NAT-type:Open but it tells me that Problems appeared with Social Media and Gaming! So what is
going on and how will it be solvent,all my other inet Services and Games work without a Problem,so i think this is coming from xlive!

My ISP is AT&T U-verse. It hasn't had problems before, but lately it has. I am not sure which is which, but I am using the AT&T U-verse Arris NVG589 and the AT&T Wireless Access Point VAP2500. I have actually ran a multiplayer test on the settings, and it
says everything is all good and should work. So not sure what to do. Thanks for the help so far.

Would it be possible for you to connect using ethernet (wired)?

If not, please follow these steps to diagnose the issue:

Run a speedtest (Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test) - to check the quality of your line

Reset the modem/router (there should be a pin-hole button on each)

Would you also be able to tell me what your current NAT type is on Xbox One?

I've also taken a look into the equipment you're using for networking, and it seems there are known incompatibilities with the AT&T U-verse Arris NVG589, and judging from the news reports, it has since been replaced to a newer version with AT&T (although
that's up to AT&T).

It might be worth giving them a call and seeing if they'll upgrade your modem/router for you.

 

Sounds good. Thanks for all the help. I have my NAT type at Moderate, and sometimes I can get it to Open, but it has always been the same. It's not exactly possible to connect it with ethernet. I will check with AT&T to see if they will upgrade my router/modem.

Yea Xbox live isn't working . can't get on hulu or play any games on live . it says I'm connected but disconnects she. I try to play . I did all the test for my Inernet and all of them say my internet is good and when I get on Hulu on my tablet it works
fine . something is wrong with live

I'm having the exact same problem since upgrading my internet and they installed the NVG589 today. I've been on the phone and chat for about 3 hours tonight with both Xbox and ATT. ATT opened all ports and then after the 3rd call they sent me to 866-393-7547
which is a 3rd party tech support you have to pay for. I politely as possible explained I was hanging up before I got angry. HELP!!!!
