Xbox One online - 360 mode cannot connect to internet??

Has anyone come across this problem? Xbox One is online but when I switch to 360 Mode to play a backwards compatible game (either Gears or Left4Dead2) as soon as the console is in 360 mode it cannot connect to the internet?

I cannot connect to xbox one online , my networks are working, I have internet. I copied stats from xbox 360 to my xbox one. Now I can't play online.

 

Disconnection from Xboxlive/modem

Last night I was watching Netflix on my xbox 360 slime, and out of the blue, it disconnected, I went to reconnect and it said to test connection, It then said it could not connect to modem, I have another xbox 360 slime in my room that was not even on at
all last night , and when I turned it on today it says it cannot connect and to test connection...I have reset the modem, the xbox 360 slime (both of them) and they both still will not connect to the modem...can any one help?

Xbox One is online with no problems - I launch Left 4 Dead 2 - Signs me in - Press Start - Storage message says that the Cloud is offline - Loads downloadable content - Menu screen (single player only) - Press start/back buttons to call up connect to Xbox
Live option - signing in pinwheel screen again - Then tells me that my connection to Xbox Live has been lost & to try again - But if I press the Xbox button and come back out to the Xbox One screen I am still connected with no problems - it's only when in
360 mode that it doesn't connect - Only had this problem in the last week or so never any problems playing L4D2 online before

 

Could you let us know which router and modem you own? Be sure to include the brand name and model numbers! This will help us try to narrow the specific issue that could be occurring.

 

I also have the exact same problem. It's not just L4D though (I don't have that), it's the same with Super Meat Boy, Aqua, Fable 2 - so I'm going to assume it's all BC games. I'm using a Sky hub.

 

Hey, robthehermit! Have you tried all the steps in the troubleshooting link Mister Maka posted to? There are links to a Troubleshooting support article in there that shows you how to clear your local 360 storage. I suggest following all the possible steps
there, and then posting back with your networking hardware details after. We'll be able to dig into more information from there. Thanks!

 

Try deleting the local storage for the 360 by going to Settings>System>Storage>Clear Local 360 Storage and then start the game again. Save data will have to re-sync and the game should start and run correctly again. This has worked for me on different games
such as South Park: The Stick of Truth and several others.

This data is getting corrupted, possibly in the save process. I would be told a minute or 2 after starting a game that I was "Logged out of Xbox Live" yet pressing the Nexus button and going back to the Xbox One dash showed that the Xbox One was still clearly
online. Hard reset of the console wouldn't resolve the online issues with the 360 game until the local storage was deleted and re-synced.

 

The same thing happened to me. I think it was because I formatted my xbox 360; however I was able to fix my problem. Once my l4d loaded (disc) I pressed the start/back buttons and went to manage storage. I had to delete all of my saved games data - it said
that everything was corrupted - and the profile as well. Then I reloaded the game, added my email, password and loaded my profile and everthing worked again. I was back online with the cloud storage. Hope this helps.
