Xbox One. One of the weirdest start up problem ever.

So a friend contacted me a problem with his Xbox One (not S) and asked me to help him and of course I gave him the regular Solutions plug out everything from the Xbox for 10 minutes try to plug it back in 10 minutes later and to try a different outlet that
didn't work so I told him to do the 15-second restart on the Xbox after that that didn't work it was then that he told me that it wasn't stuck on the green screen for the Xbox it was stuck on the initial startup for the Xbox where you select your language
you know region stuff like that and that was weird cuz I've never heard of this or seen this problem before so I have a picture of it that he sent me this is where it freezes please tell me so I can help him out. For some reason I can't upload the pic also
he told me he didn't have any updates recently and also he is not an Insider last game he was playing was OverWatch and he turned it off from the Xbox button so it wasn't any shock to the Xbox hard drive or anything else from plugging it out from the power
source.

[/quote]Do you wait and wait till you start shooting and so your time's up or just start shooting immediately? If you don't wait then that's the weirdest problem I've ever heard of.

 

Xbox one start up problem

There is an xbox customer whom I've spoken with twice. His Xbox one will start up to the xbox logo and go no further. He's done all the troubleshooting steps, and tried resetting with an USB cable. None of this has worked, and his Xbox is no longer in warranty.

Hi

Get your friend to try going through the offline update as in the guide below please note when you are in the screen.

Initially I would start the console as guided in step 4 below as you get an option here to reset your Xbox One.

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
