Xbox one on windows 10 lag

when I try to play games through my laptop its lags awful, not just on the games in general when on the home screen. I've tried plugging in to the hub both the laptop and the xbox but still no better. I've updated all the drivers and checked everything
is up to date. I'm at a loss on what else to try.

anyone have any ideas on what else I can do?

Sorry in advance for the barrage of questions!

What is your setup like? Are your computer, router (what you refer to as your hub, perhaps??), and Xbox One all in the same room? When is the last time that your router has been restarted?

Hi HSharpe,

As Amber mentioned above, are you streaming your gameplay from your Xbox One to the Xbox app on the laptop or are you playing directly on the laptop?

I recommend looking over those two support articles she posted since there are a few basic troubleshooting steps if the stream is indeed lagging . I also recommend performing the clean boot that she suggested as well.

Let us know if it is the stream being affected and if a clean boot to the PC helps improve anything.

I restarted the router today and yes everything is in the same room. I did a speed test on my router and all that was fine, it just seems to be in the app itself. Ive litetally tried everything i can think of.

Bug still there with Windows 10 x64 15063.413.

It seems also FIFA 2017 is affected:

Microsoft should test these games and fix the drivers for Windows 10.
