Xbox one On screen keyboard not responding.

    Xbox one On screen keyboard not responding.


    Can't respond to messages, search. Can move to any letter, when click on it nothing happens? Any suggestions wo be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Xbox One Keyboard wont type

    Hi, in a few apps (netflix, edge, internet browser pro) and even searching for movies in the store, im not able to type anything using the on screen keyboard with the xbox controller. I had a apple keyboard plugged into the usb to use symbols like @ which
    are not present on the on screen keyboard all the time which was working fine but now they’ve both stopped responding. On the controller I can press A to select apps and navigate but it will not let me select anything on the onscreen keyboard.

    Xbox one On screen keyboard not responding.

    Hey there XFM WING1!

    Lets try something that usually works for most Xbox One issues. What I am going to have you do is what's called a Hard Reset.

    Press and hold the power button on the front of your Xbox One console until it shuts off. Once it is off, unplug the power supply from the back of the console for 30 seconds.

    Once the 30 seconds are up, plug the power supply back in to the rear of your Xbox One than turn it back on. Once it has fully booted up and you are on the home screen signed in, attempt to use the on-screen keyboard again.

    Let me know if this works for you!

    Hi, i am having trouble with my controller. Anything i click on will not work. I can't sign in, play games, use apps, look at my achievments. Anything that requires you to click on it, doe not work. The console knows that I have clicked on it becasuse the
    thing I click on does the 'pulsing type animation' when you click on it but nothing happens. Help, I cant do anything.
