    No video through DVI adapter

Is your DVI adapter a DVI or DVI-I type -

That might be what your problem is - it missing those 4 pins around the --- on the adapter.

If you were going to get a new cable - the Xbox DVI cable would be the one to get.

does your computer have a "dvi out"? if so purchase a dvi cable and plug that into that dvi port on your computer and use your vga port for xbox...i assume with a monitor like that it must have a "source" button (like mine) to choose one of the two different
outputs. if your computer however does not have a "dvi out" then disregard my post.

    Hello Paul,

We understand that you're experiencing an issue after tweaking a video output setting that has now caused a lack of visuals on the television screen.

Our suggestion for this as follows:

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button
for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button
and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.
Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to
System > Settings in the guide, select
      Display & sounds
, Video options, and then TV Resolution.
    4. If you are required to complete these steps on every boot-up, you will want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 in the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more information, see How
to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One console
      .

This step can be found on our troubleshoot a blank screen support article.

Try this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!

    Nat type strict

Are you connected via wireless or ethernet? Im assuming wireless as ethernet usually gives open nat. In my experience going into settibgs and testing the connection improves the nat.
