    Xbox one ON button and EJECT button not working


    Hi,

    I've had my Xbox one for just under a year roughly, and the other day my xbox wouldn't turn on if I pressed the main button on the console (it does turn on with the controller though) and today I've discovered that the eject button isn't working either so I
    currently have a disc stuck in there.

    Is this a common fault with them? And is there anything I can do or am I better off contacting the store where I brought it from/support from Microsoft.

    Also, any tips on getting out my disc?

    Eject button not working!

    It sounds like you definitely need a repair. I would contact phone or chat support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) and explain your situation to them, and they may be able to help you out.

    Ok I got it to manually eject but now it won't take it back in. As if it has no power to pull the disc in.

    Ya I found that. But don't want to have to do that and have to explain how to do that to my girlfriend in case I'm not home. I had a feeling there would be a problem with this thing as soon as the warranty ran out. Just my luck.

    I agree with Ken here. It does sound like it needs a repair. You can either contact support as suggested in his post or set up a repair of the console at the following link.

    I had this problem a few weeks back, do the manual eject then put the disk back in and it should work like normal, mine has been working fine since i had the problem
