    XBox One often doesn't recognise disks put in during a cold boot.


    I've found that - particularly with Xbox 360 games - if I put a game in just after I've turned the console on, after a cold boot - eg where you get the big Xbox Green logo - the disc often isn't recognised.

    So I then have to take the disc out and put it in again, at which point it's recognised. Is this a quirk with it booting up from cold or is there something wrong with my Xbox One?

    Just realised that my wireless keyboard is working on xbox one

    Yeah, you have to have the keyboard attached during cold boot. Can't be detected after the system boots, nor after the system Instant On boots.

    Hi - posted possible solution earlier - solution that worked for me was to cold boot my Xbox by turning off from the mains and on again. I did remove the disk and reloaded but not sure that is needed, just a cold reboot of the Xbox.

    booting a person offline is a felony and is punishable by law. I find that xbox does not care too much about that though and people are able to get away with it too often. Often resulting in a weaker security on ones wifi and them being added to a boot
    list that allows anyone with a free ip stresser to boot them offline. The swearing upon being reported is dealt with right away and is not the problem but the constant Ddosing and booting offline is a little ridiculous on games like COD cold war R6 siege and
    others.

    How long did you leave it for?

    During a cold boot it will show the logo then black screen for up to a minute before the green boot screen shows up.

    Hi all, i had this and sorted it by taking out the titanfall disk and turning off the xbox from the main, and turning back on, loaded up and all sorted. Some solutions say to reinstall. Probably a cold boot and reloaded will do it. if digital then i guess
    it would still work with a cold boot (off from main and restart)

    hope this helps - appreciate the frustrations!!
