Xbox One Offline Saving Issues

I had this problem as well.

Support, Xbox com, and Google had no answers for 202.

What worked for me was doing an offline reset and then also doing a reset - save games and apps from settings.

The offline reset got my orig xbox one to boot, but it still had issues.

The reset - save games and apps from settings after the offline reset got it to work again.

Another tip - after the offline reset, do a save/ backup to disk and you wont have to set up your wifi a second time.

If you signed in with your xbox one profile on the 360 and it was that same profile then it would have just loaded up the saved games that were already there so I am going with this is an offline profile situation.

1. If this is an offline profile issue you would have to follow the link to make that offline profile an online profile.

2. Once that is done this would make a new account with a new profile on it for you with those game saves on it.

3. You can then load up that profile on the One and if you want to continue through those game saves then you would need to play on that profile.

There is NO way to move the saved games to your new profile. You are going to have to convert your xbox 360 offline profile into an online profile and you would not be able to use the current xbox one profile/account to do it.

If we're understanding correctly. Are you trying to access your Xbox 360 save file while disconnected from Xbox Live and unable to do this? Or are you unable to use your Xbox 360 save at all?

The way save files work in Backward Compatible is that they are stored on the cloud so that when you are connected to Xbox Live either on your own console or another. You'll be able to access that save file later. You can use this save file offline. In order
to do that though, you will need to put your console into Offline Mode.

I am having the same issue, usually connected at home to Xbox live and no issues, currently in a hotel playing Fifa Offline and when I save the game then restart it reverts back to an older saved game which is prior to the offline games played. Even if I
create a new save game file it still reverts back to the old save point??? This can't be right

On Xbox One, saves are automatically stored on both internal HDD and the Cloud, so if the internet is out you can continue playing with your offline save, and the next time you connect that offline save will be uploaded to sync the two storage devices.

Saves are transferred automatically if you buy an S, and we have no reason to believe this would be different with the Scorpio considering it is slated to support all current Xbox One games.
