xbox one offline local play

All accounts made on the One have to have a Live login. It's not possible to make an offline account.

You'll need to create a Microsoft account to use games and online stuff ,but once you created a Microsoft account you can take your xbox one offline to play those games.

I dont think its possible to create a full on account offline but if you are having issues with spotty internet you could always hot spot the connection from your cell phone and then disconnect once the account is created.

xbox.com/status shows issues with sign in services on xbox one.

Problem is that it won't even sign in locally so i'm unable to play offline!!

When you play something offline, the game will send progress to the cloud when online.

Moving to the Cloud

When you start a new game, you’ll usually see a prompt asking where you want to save your game. You can now select “cloud saved games” as the storage device. After that, every time you sign in to your
profile and play the game, it will be saved to the cloud.

If you want to store an existing saved game to the cloud, you can simply move it. Do the following:

Sign in to your profile

Go to “settings.” ”system,” then “storage”

Select the storage device that holds the saved game you want to move

Choose “games” to select the one with your save

“Move”

Select “cloud saved games”
