    Hi

    Im wondering if I will be able to play games and use my xbox one without connecting to the internet, I know I will have to when I first get it and when I first put a game in but apart from that can I just play my games offline????

    Hello,

    You can connect your Xbox One to the internet on your "bad TV" download games and then go to offline mode to play those games offline.

    To go to offline mode,

    • Press the Home Button (Big button in the middle)
    • Press the Menu Button (The button right of the big button) and select
      Settings
    • In the settings menu select Network
    • Select Go offline
    This will make your console go to offline mode and will prevent you from getting errors saying you need to be connected to the internet. If you go and connect it to the internet again follow the same steps but then select
    Go Online

    I believe the initial download size is 500MB but because of updates that happened between launch and now that size can be a bit larger. The initial download needs to be downloaded before you can play offline. The other updates that came afterwards (it's
    packed into 1 update) needs to be downloaded before you can access Xbox Live to download stuff from the marketplace.
