Xbox one offline booter

So this person on xbox threatened to boot me offline after a casual match of r6 siege. He said some stuff, that is concerning. I never once joined his party but am wondering if something could happen to him for future people that encounter him. Here is a
rundown of the chat

Booter: Im booting you offline

Me: U need to have me in party

Booter: No i dont

Me: Try me

Booter: Ok say goodbye

Useless smiley face chatting

Booter: so i set a timer, by midnight you will permanently be offline until u buy a new router.

Me: Whats my adress, and what state.

(Invites me to a party)

Booter: Ill tell u on party

Me: No Chat

Booter: [mod removed]

Me: Ik the only way to get ip is through party

Booter: Its not say bye to your wifi��

Me: Where is my router located.

Booter: U r so scared��

Me: No im im honhonly not.

Booter: U r homie

Me: Youre just a toxic teenager trying to scare young kids by doing something that can be resolved in a phone call.

Booter: Youre like 12 bro [mod removed]

Then we just talk about how if he doesnt know my ip he doesnt know where i live

I have photos on my phone of the chat so if you could email me microsoft that would be great.

And normal people looking to help just tell me if there is any way he can get my ip that is not through party. I will enjoy any help. Thank you

Report / block them and also use a VPN to protect you on internet, also contact your ISP.

Hi,firstly report and block this gamer,secondly yes you can be ddos in r6 from gamechat,it has happened to my son twice,usually i just reset my router and its ok,but speak to your isp

Report and block him, and if anything did happen to your router cause of him, contact Xbox to get his information and report him to the police.

A DoS or DDoS attack is done by sending an overload of packets of information, that blocks up your internet. Usually by turning of your router for 5 minutes, your ISP will asign a new IP address and you will get back online.

Be sure you always Block and Report these players so that the Xbox enforcement team can look into it.

There are unfortunately a few ways players can find out your IP address. Predominately you'd have to be either
in a party or in game with them. Although when they're in a game, the tricky part is identifying which IP is the one you're looking for...If anyone ever does find out your address usually resetting your modem will fix the problem quickly and
you can contact your internet service provider (ISP) for help.
