Xbox One Official Headsets or Headset Adapters cannot be used on PC

Just sad to see something I got as a present I can't use on PC. I was hoping that since Xbox 360 Headsets work fine on PC that Xbox One Headsets would too. If this is something that can or will be patched, I'd like to know.

i second this. plus, the standard black version is consistenly on sale for $50 and comes with a headset adapter. i just wish they would've released an official h5 colorway to match either my mc controller or locke controller and console.

I and going to assume that the desire is for the headset that comes with the system, you want to use while the controller is wired into the PC.

The default headset is onl for chat purposes and does not play audio from the xbox one so it would not on a PC either.

PC drivers and hardware to my knowledge has never supported sound in either direction through a controller.

Now the Official Xbox Stereo Headset just needs to be plugged into the audio jack on a PC. Depending upon your sound card, some or all features will work just fine.

There is no official surround headset. The headsets I used with the adapter were all Turtle Beach. Fully compatible with Xbox One when using the adapter.

What headset are you using with the controller? Is this an official Microsoft Xbox headset or another one? Are you using the controller with the 3.5mm input or are you using an Official Headset adapter.

Can you explain what wiring is needed to use game chat/ party chat with this headset. Ive contacted the manufacturer and they said to contact you.
