XBOX ONE OCTOBER UPDATE - PARTY CHAT ISSUES

I'm having trouble with the party chat not working, I am able to join and others are able to join my/their party but Listening and talking to that person is impossible. Is there any way to uninstall the update? Or patch it.

Xbox One Update October Club Party Chat

Hey everyone! I am new to the ambassador program, so, I hope I am posting in the correct area.

It seems that after the new update that changed the user interface and pretty much everything, club party chats are no longer working for some clubs. One of these clubs include mine and I have found one other - so it must be only a handful of clubs. I have
called tech support and they said to post to the form for better results. A few of my club members have called in as well because it's not just my Xbox that's messing up.

So here's the process:

I click on a club and go to their welcome page.

I use bumpers to move to the multiplayer section

Then instead of "find players by entering tags", start club party", "create post". "refresh all posts"; I get a grayed out - "Start club party" that can not be clicked, and a "refresh all posts".

We have been calling tech support with no luck as to why or a fix. Any info on this would be awesome.

You posted in the right place. Also I'm pretty certain Xbox is aware of this issue because of the multiple complaints they've received.

But right now I think the only think you can do about these issue right now is wait for a patch. It is frustrating but their isn't anything else anyone here can do about it.

So there's no way to uninstall the preview update? My Xbox is basically unusable this monh because of this issue.

 

It's clearly a software issue rather than networking. I can hear my friends, but their voices sound "robotic" and they can't hear me at all. Also, whereas usually in party chat, when speaking the circle next to my name becomes thicker and stays that way
while speaking, now it flickers between thick and thin while speaking.

 

As the October update is not a preview update anymore but has gone public meanwhile, it is mandatory to have it installed.

But as there is already a november preview update rolled out you may please check your software version at settings / system / console information. If you are on xb_rel.1410 you are on the public version, if already on the xb_rel.1411 you are on a preview
version.

If on a preview version you need to move over to the preview program forums and have you issue posted there:

forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

Anyway there is no option to have your dashboard version uninstalled.

Yeah, this is happening to me too...

 

This is totally ridiculous. And completely frustrating. I am having the same issue. Whenever I start a party after turning my xbox on my chat microphone icon (circle) blinks twice instead of staying solid and no one can hear me. I am forced to power cycle
my xbox every time. But now that aint even working any more. I cannot chat with friends at all now. I really want to trow this thing in the garbage right now

 

Guys, as this seems to be a known problem with the current preview updates please move over to the preview program forums and post this issue there to help the developers to fix this problem. Thxs for your understanding.

And if you are not in the preview please open a new thread on this to get specific help as your problem is different to the OP then.

 

Hey i have a problem i must link my account with a older account and if i do it say you sign in on xbox live is not use now try back later i do this 4 days and it dont work ???

 

This is not new...I have been having the same problem since the 1409 (August) update and keep getting the run around. All you will ever hear is the engineers are working on the issue.....how about rolling back what you messed up in the first place? Should
not take months to resolve something MS messed up in the first place.
