Same issue, since the latest update my friends list is frozen, and I cant access my synced saved games. (preview update)

Guys, Ive found a fix! Just clear your xbox one cache. Worked for me.

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

Dont Worry guys Microsoft is more then likely putting alot of effort into solving this problem the best option to do is to sit back and wait, the more people that report this problem to Microsoft the more speed it will pick up. (to report this problem:
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us ) if you don't plan on waiting and want this problem gone you can always use your warranty and get a new Xbox one from your provided retailer, and you May
get a free game for your troubles i know i did

The solution was to switch to offline mode, then restart the xbox and wait for it to boot up and then switch back to online.

Solution was to switch to offline then restart the console and the once it is back up go back to online mode.

Same thing has happened to me. On the verge of taking it back to the shop and exchanging it as faulty. Xbox support no help at all. Restored Xbox, restarted Xbox, deleted profile, added profile, reset router, and I still have no gamerscore, no profile pic,
no friends list, no game saves and says I was last online 45 mins ago, which is when I signed on on my Xbox 360 to check internet/profile etc.

Was told the advisor was not trained in the new update and to look on forums.

Now says status update with social and gaming, wondering if it's just a stall, while they try and work out why we!ve lost all data on profiles.
