Xbox one now £350 at maplin's

Unless there was a Gamecube in the box, you got what you paid for. You ordered an Xbox One, your money exchanged hands with someone to acquire an Xbox One, and you received an Xbox One.

If you didn't research the specs of the console before you dropped £430 on it, then you have only yourself to blame if it is not up to your specifications.

If you can get a Day 1 Edition from Maplins in the UK for £350.00 AND a free copy of either "FIFA '14" or "Forza 5" then good on you...

But you can't.

You can get a gameless XBox ONE.

Throw in the price of the game and you've lost £30.00.

Ignore Maplin and look at the "Titanfall" for free with the ONE for £399.99.

Again you've lost £30.00.

If money is so tight that you're feeling betrayed by a £30.00 price cut perhaps you should have saved up some more money before throwing £429.99 at an XBox ONE.

@ OP, that's what happens when a business wants to get rid of stock it can't shift.

I do agree with you to some extent, sell it now while you can't still get 200-300 on ebay.

I did read the spec, the spec of the console is great. And i am in no way whatsoever disputing the ability of the console but, the power of the console is greatly diminished because of poor choices in the way the architecture inside the console works..

So either they didn't care or they just didn't care.. Years of development and millions of dollars go into making and researching these things and your seriously about to tell me that nooooo one brought this issue up?

Someone, somewhere at some point must have programmed something for the console and said to Microsoft "That EsRam choice is a bit poor, we can do X and Y on the PS4. And we can only achieve Z on the Xbox One, Sort it out guys."

One thing i will say though, the shaders on the Xbox One are pretty amazing. Thief looks so much better on the xbox than the PS4 even with the resolution drop because of the way it renders.

Either way like i said before i'm not here to argue because its useless over the internet.

Sorry but you are owed nothing more than what you got when you purchased the console. Price cuts happen all the time and although I can understand your frustration, you knew what you were buying before you paid for it. I am locking this thread as there are

Im not here to argue with anyone as arguing online in about as useful as brushing your hair with toast.

simple fact is you are getting hurt and from the sounds of it you dont even realise.

and if it comes to it I will move on to a different machine. Microsoft will suffer because they make there money of people like me and you. If were not here they dont get money, a simple thing like voting with your wallet makes a huge difference. If they
didnt think that they would not have retracted the DRM, they woupd not have discounted the console.. they are on there *** and need to do all they can to keep people like me. People who are at an age were we can afford to buy as many games a year as we want
when we want. Not the little kid who needs to ask there parents for a game.. simple..
