Xbox one notifications not working at all

For the last month I have not been receiving notifications for favourites coming online, achievements, game clips and invites. I have tried everything to fix this, hard reset my Xbox and deleting my account etc. I don't know what else to try.

Not receiving notifications at all

My friends are trying to invite me to there games and stuff, but i dont receive the messages or game invites at all...

Please help!

 

Notification Sound Not Working Anymore

Nothing too serious, but was just curious if anyone else had this problem where the achievement notification, welcome notification when I get signed in, the clip being recorded notification, and or all of the other notifications are no longer doing the good
ole Xbox chime when they are supposed to. The notifications are working and popping up when they are supposed to, but they just are not making the sound they used to anymore. Everything else with the console is working just fine and I really think that Xbox
One is awesome. Just was unsure on how to bring that sound back for notifications haha. Thanks!!

Are you currently using the latest dashboard release? Are you signed into any other devices like the Windows 10 Xbox App or a mobile version of the Xbox App?

Thanks for the information, while you're signed into the Windows 10 Xbox App are you seeing the notifications there? If you sign out of the Xbox App are they appearing on the console?

Thanks for checking, let's have you try these steps.

1. Turn off all notifications on the Xbox One console.

2. Remove your profile from the console.

3. Power Cycle the console.

4. Re-add your profile and test to see if the notifications are popping up again.

If that doesn't work, let's try to clear the Alternate MAC and see if that helps.

1. Go to Settings

2. Under Network click on Network Settings

3. Click on Advanced Settings

4. Click on Alternate MAC address

5. Select Clear

Your console will then restart, after the restart go ahead and try to see if it works for you then.

To clarify, when you look on the console in the notifications section are you seeing the notifications there? If you clear out any notifications does that seem to help?

Hmm let's see if there may be any network issues on the console,

Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

Thanks, the packet loss and higher latency could be affecting this. Let's have you try to turn off the console and power cycle your network equipment. Then turn the console back on and see if that Packet Loss has gone away and the Latency has gone below
160ms. If it has, try to test again and see if there is a change.
