Xbox ONE Notification When Friend Starts Playing the same game as you.

Say you have an Xbox 360 beacon for a game or two and you're on an Xbox One console. If your friends start the game with the beacon on a 360, will your Xbox One console give you a notification when they've started playing the game?

i really need to investigate this party system. so when you're in a party with friends and those same friends start playing another game you get a notification?

Same here. I no longer get notifications when friends come online. I only get notifications when a friend is playing the same game as me. Msg notifications and party invites works fine, but it's kinda annoying if you're playing a different game waiting for
your friends to come online.

Having this problem again. No notifications when friends come online or starts to play the same game as me. Messages, party invites and game invites works fine.

The only issue I can think of right now that I've had with the Xbox One notifications is with the one that lets you know your game is ready. When it appears, if you don't accept it or decline it, it stays on-screen for far too long and if you join the game
without using the notification (by simply selecting the game rather than the notification), it fails to realize that fact and still stays on the screen.

There are some from the 360 that I do miss - your aforementioned # of friends online, for example, but I can see why they don't have it; it's easy enough to see on the far right of the Home screen as the Friends tab actually bleeds over into it just enough
for you to see that info (basically, the notification isn't necessary). Another example of one that I miss is the one that would let you know when a friend started playing the same game you already were as well as the one that would show you how many of your
friends were playing the game that you just started. Those were both good ways to more easily figure out who you could or wanted to play with together, if you were so inclined.

It's not notification-based, but whatever happened to the beacons? I wouldn't mind having those back.
