XBOX ONE not working on wired connection since my last update from XBOX live

Hello every one

I got an issue back from my vacation. When I put ON my XBOX1 I got a request to make an update from XBOX live. This is what I tried to do but finally I made the update by the offline way since XBOX live was down during one day. So I used an USB key well
formated in NTFS with OSU1 on it. I had severals difficulties to get XBOX1 back working. But finally I succeeded. But now I'm stuck at the preliminary steps where we have to enter the language, country and come after the network detection. Then since my wifi
card was/is not longer working (I don't why but it was also the case/situation before the upgrade), I use to work with the wired LAN cable only and all were working good before my update in that configuration. But following all my trials I am no longer able
to work only with my wired connection since the software detect a problem with my WIFI card and the system goes no where after this detection.

Any help/suggestion will be greatly appreciatedin order to get back my XBOX1 working with my wired ethernet connection whatever the wifi connection working.

Please help: Cannot connect to xbox live

Last night I was signed into xbox live and playing online. Today I turn on my xbox and I cannot connect to xbox live. I have the older xbox that requires a network adapter to connect wirelessly, so I use a wired connection. Since my modem is so far away
from my xbox I use a coupler to connect two ethernet cables together. I went through all the steps that are listed on the website, even changing the wires, but I still cannot connect. My xbox does not even recognize the wired connection when trying to test
the network. My modem is working fine, and so is my internet connection. Does anyone know a way to fix the problem?

 

Cant connect to Xbox live wirelessly

I have been having an issue connecting to xbox live wirelessly since last night. I went out and purchased a router and I am still having the same issue. Everything had been working fine until yesterday. I can connnect to xbox live with a wired connection.

Hi Mister Mascot. Thanks for this reply. But unfortunately , this link given above in reference didn't help me a lot since I am no longer able to pass the first 2 screens when the console is firstly initialized at the begining. Like I said above I'm stuck
at the screen for ethernet link validation...Thanks for your help!!

 

Ah, thanks for clarifying!

Sounds like the Ethernet cable could be having a problem. Can you try to use another Ethernet cable to see if that helps? Are you having connection problems with other devices in the house?
