  1. Xbox One not using wireless network properly.

My internet isn't the best. But, it most certainly works. I can go play battlefield 4 on my computer, no lag. On my xbox, however, i cannot even launch games without it asking for the person who bought them to sign in (it isnt my home xbox). My xbox and
my computer are in the same room. My router is one floor above them. I tried (multiple times) turning off my xbox and my router. My computer is normally off. Im not sure what else to do. Using a wire wont work because i have no wire long enough. I have tried
    wifi extenders.

    :)

    Issues connecting wireless

I think if you are using a usb wireless adapter, only the microsoft certified are guaranteed to work properly with the wireless connectivity software on the xbox. Now if you are using a wireless access point, then it should be configured via a computer with
your network ssid, security type and password. It is connected to xbox via a network cable and no special wireless settings required on the xbox.

In order to help we need equipment specs......wireless adapter specs and router specs.

    Xbox One S Wireless Specs

Found this today on Microsoft's support site:

"In addition to wireless protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band, the Xbox One S adds 802.11ac to its list of supported network protocols. If you have a wireless ac router, you can use that network to connect your Xbox One S to Xbox Live."

your device is no longer able to participate in the network because it can’t communicate directly with any remote devices. Please check the internet connection for problems and try again

I do understand how you feel about the situation. We just need to check if it connects properly to a mobile hotspot connection which is a different wireless connection. If it connects properly there, then it is definitely an issue with the wireless network you are using right now.

    Hi Raph514x1,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue in connecting your Xbox One S to your wireless internet. If your Xbox One console is able to see your wireless network, but you’re unable to connect to your network or to Xbox Live, I
recommend using the Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution for help in getting connected correctly.

If your Xbox One is unable to recognize your wireless network (or any wireless network) in order to connect, then I would further recommend using our Xbox
    One Wireless Network Connection Solution
    to help resolve this issue.

Give these solutions a try and let us know the results.

I hope that this helps out!

I meant my next door neighbor is on xbox live with comcast as an ISP

Try powering off your network equipment (modem and router) for a couple of minutes. Power on the modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly. Power on the router and wait another minute.

Go to Xbox network settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional Settings tab and select Restore network settings to factory defaults. If wireless, reconfigure Xbox wireless network settings. If wired, press "B" on your controller and select
    Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Post back and let us know how that goes.
