XBOX One Not Updating

For the past month i haven't been able to do anything on my xbox because it does not update. I get a message reading 'there was a problem with the update'. I cant check my network connnection because as soon as i go on to that screen it pings me back to
the 'Update now screen' which when i try to update it never works. When i go offline and re-add my connection to see if it works, it also instantly takes me back to the update now screen which when i try to update it comes up with the 'There was a problem
with the update' screen again. I've tried everything on microsofts support list and it doesn't work so is there anything i can do?

Xbox One Not Updating

Hi there,

Not everyone is being put into the New Xbox One experience this early. They are sending the update out in waves. You'll generally need to wait until you are sent the update over the next several weeks.

In the future, please make sure you post all preview related posts in the private preview program forums area.

Sorry to hear about the issue! I see you mentioned you have tried some troubleshooting steps, but let's start by following the steps on our

Xbox One Update Solution page. This will include updating you console offline with a USB drive if you get to that step.
