    Xbox One not unlocking achievements, and other stuff not working after update


    My Xbox just got recently updated this December and after this update, I found these following problems:

    1) Achievements not unlocking in any game I play, even when using other profiles, achievement's just don't unlock.

    2) Metro Redux, even if installed and updated, does not run. (My game is disc-based) It only returns to the home screen when loading the game. A message comes up which tells me that the game is taking too long to start. By the way, the game used to work
    perfectly.

    3) My backwards compatible game, Fallout 3: GOTY used to load everything when I use the 2nd disc as my game disc. I have installed all DLC's and it used to work. Now, when I insert disc 2, it does not load, and whenever I use the first disc, it does not
    read the downloaded DLC's.

    PS. All of these used to work before the last update, the update which added games with backwards compatibility (Halo: Reach, Doritos Crash Course, etc.)

    Achievements aren't unlocking

    Achievements aren't unlocking for Xbox one and 360 games. I may get some of them but not all of them. Destiny 2 I noticed after I reached level 20 I never got the achievement. I have played many other games in the past but not to long ago and never got the
    achievements. Does anyone know if Xbox is working to fix this? What should I do?

    Backward compatibility problem

    Hey, BlHimmel! We are aware of a situation where some achievements do not unlock on the Xbox One console. This shows up as either Xbox One achievements not unlocking, Xbox 360 achievements not unlocking, or both not unlocking.

    We are working on resolving this right now, however the current workaround is to do a

    factory reset     on your console. Give that a shot following the steps there; you can keep your games and apps. After that, try to earn an easy achievement for an Xbox 360 game, and let us know how it goes!

    Specific Achievements Not Unlocking

    UPDATE 7-11-2014: After playing with 5 different friends for the Need for Speed online Achievements, I was able to unlock both previously non-working achievements.

    I am still having trouble unlocking the "Prestige Hound" achievement in Dead Rising 3. Apparently after doing some research, other gamers are struggling to unlock this achievement as well. Is there any solution for this? I can take pictures or record proof
    of me completing all of the PP trials(which is the requirement to unlocking the achievement).

    What does 100% locked actually mean?

    What does 100% is a bug in the current update it'll be soon patched hopefully. The done unlocking is what you'll see when done unlocking a achievement. I hope i cleared stuff up

    I bought my Xbox One on the day of Release and achievements worked fine, it was justa few weeks after the release of NXOE my achievements stopped unlocked, tracking progress and other game progress will not track either such as kills or assassinations on
    the friendlist leaderboards in the achievements area of the Xbox.

    Achievements in different language

    Having the same problem here myself.

    Titanfall achievments are showing up in German. Think it was just after the Titanfall update. The pop up box (when achievements unlock) still shows the achievement in English though.

    Language and region is English/UK. My account is UK. No idea what is going on. All other games are showing up in English.

    I did change the language as a test and when you select any other language, the achievements including Titanfall will change accordingly. It only doesn't work for English were Titanfall reverts to German!!! Crazy stuff!!!

    Hope the new July update will fix this but if not then this will be annoying!!!

    Glad I'm not on my own with this though! ;-)

    Hello BlakManDan, there was a problem yesterday with Achievements not only yourself were having these problems but everyone else on Xbox one. Your Achievement should unlock by itself in a couple of days some are already unlocking for others. I've had this
    problem too and my achievements unlocked after awhile no need to worry :).
