Xbox One not turning on

Issue: My Xbox One is not turning on.

When I switch on the Xbox One Power Supply the color indicator of the Power supply turns to orange, then to white for a second and then the light indicator turns off.

If I unplug everything..and then plug in the power supply..the light stays orange..when I plug the power cable back into the xbox..it flashes white and then goes out completely..the console never even attempts to turn on.

I have tested the Power Supply both with and without Surge Protector and no success i.e I got the same behavior.

It happened few days back but was fixed by itself but now it is not turning on.

I have already tried keeping all the cords unplugged for hrs but no success.

I noticed very similar issue here Power Supply Not Working...Light comes on then off but no solution was provided there.

Someone mentioned in that issue that he changed Power Supply too but was facing the same issue

have power to my xbox but it wont turn on the xbox icon just flashes white then goes off .I have tried resetting the power adapter but still the same when trying to power up just using the control the icon on the controlor keeps flashing at me what do i
do i can even do hard reset of the consol

Sounds like you need to reset the power supply.

BEWARE (Indian users):

If you get your console stopped working somehow after warranty, they (Microsoft) will not repair it even if you are willing to pay. They just have NO repair/service center in India if your Console gets out of warranty.

I purchased the XBox One in 2014, it suddenly get stopped few days back which I have reported on their forums too

type."

I further confirmed calling "Toll free: 000-800-440-1179" , their Support number, and they confirmed with so much proud that Xbox One Consoles (out of warranty one) in India can not be repaired by them and only option I have is to purchase a new one!

What a big Joke!

Please save your hard earned money to get something else.
