    Xbox One not turning on normally?!


    So I’m having trouble with my Basic Xbox One. When I turn it on , It doesn’t connect to my TV. I have unplugged the power cord from the wall with the power brick also removed from the outlet and nothing seems to work. The HDMI cable works fine and I have tried to factory reset it and the two beeps do not go off, and I was wondering what the problem might be?

    Unplug Xbox ONE<Unplug Router<Wait for lights to return as normal on router(whatever normal looks like)<Turn Xbox ONE back on.

    No, it is not normal for your Xbox to turn itself on in the middle of the night. And for the cutting off during an update sometimes the Xbox needs to restart during an update so that is normal, but if it is turning off and not restarting during an update

    It is 100% normal for xbox one features to not work... therefore you do not have a problem. Be happy that your machine turns on....

    This is just what the paranormal wants you to think. It sounds like it could be a ventilation issue though, most likely from something that lives in the same realm as us. You may have to get it serviced, if that's the case here is the link to get started

    When you say it resets itself. Do you mean that it factory resets itself? Like deletes everything entirely and acts like a new Xbox again?

    Also how old is the Xbox ? Is it in a well ventilated area?
