Xbox one not syncing games and apps

On the Xbox, you can't sync your lights to games with this app. On the Xbox, each game and app run in separate virtual machines, and can't know of each other.

In order for the Hue Dynamic app to sync your Hue lights to the action on screen in a game, the app needs to "see" what's on screen, either via a camera or via a capture app. Both options don't work on the Xbox One.

If you want to experience the effect of Hue being synced to your gaming, you can get the game "Chariot", which supports Hue lights natively in the game itself
without the need for an app.

The Hue Dynamic app on the Xbox One simply allows you to control your Hue lights manually, or to start a scene that was added to your Hue hub. But for game syncing, you will have to use it with games you play on your PC.

P.S.: I own Hue Lights, and can confirm that the app only allows you to control your lamps manually or via set scenes. No game syncing is possible on the Xbox One, but Chariot with Hue support in a dark room is really fun.

If it's not on there could you try the following ? It has worked for a number of people.

1. Put your console in Offline mode
   
   Settings->Network->Go offline
2. Sign out of your gamertag
3. Powercycle your Xbox
   
   Hold the button for 10 seconds and then unplug the powerbrick from the wall for 30 seconds
   
4. Turn your Xbox back on after plugging everything back in
5. Put your console on Online mode
6. Sign in to your profile

This has worked for some people and might not guarantee

To reset your Xbox data, go to Settings, APPs, Apps & Features, scroll to Xbox icons. You will see two or three Xbox icons each one will need to be reset. Click on the first one, select advanced options,
click Reset button, I did it twice to make sure. I should show app: 0 bytes and data is 8.0 KB.
Once you have reset all three, reboot your system. Restart the game."

In addition to resetting the three xbox apps, I also reset the Ultimate Word Games App and the Microsoft Store App before restarting (I read on another post that this can help as well).

Once I restarted the game the Sync Data screen popped up and began to sync again. Once the sync was done I did get the error message about being unable to sync, I clicked "Try Again" and then the
game finally opened with my saved progress.

SOLVED. Needed to simply restore the Xbox One while saving my games and apps. Holding the sync, eject, and power button and starting over.

My xbox one let me use any games or apps because it wont sync my data for anything!! Im so frustrated
