Xbox One not syncing Cloud data

hi all any support or answers would be much appeciated, i have previous Need For Speed Rivals game datat on xbox 360 and need it on my xbox one, i have saved the data to the cloud storage but the xbox one isnt detecting it. Any ideas?

I have already tried moving it via USB stick and to an external hard drive, didnt work.

I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to start a game over, just delete the local save data, then when you start a game it will start to sync the cloud data. Just press the button to cancel this sync and you should be able to start a game fresh. Then when you play the game next time, it may say something like your save data is out of sync. Would you like to use the cloud or local save. Select to use your new local save, then it will start syncing that one to the cloud from then on.

Alternatively, you can just create a new Xbox Live account and play the game on that.

^ That's not true, your files are saved locally too. If you are connected it's synced and if you uninstall a game your local save is removed until you redownload the game, at which point it will sync to servers.

Your file is on your system, and it auto syncs. Makes it seem like you are only using cloud, but really it will just update your cloud save and your local save by checking cloud.

The One version of Rivals is seen as a different game than the 360 version. 360 data will not sync with the One version.

Syncing data to the Xbox Live cloud storage is a automatic process which syncs data to the cloud to back up the data, and then would only re-sync back to the console if the local saved data has been removed or deleted from the console's hard drive, assuming
you are playing on Xbox One.

On Xbox One, there is a way to clear local saved data, restart your Xbox, and upon staring a game, the data is re-synced from the cloud. One Windows 10, you will need to re-install the game.

Please let us know what edition and what platform you play on.

You should receive a prompt to use local data or cloud data if set offline. I'd try to troubleshoot the sync and see if it is fixed

Is this on xbox? If you have cloud sync enabled the data may still be stored in the cloud
