Xbox One Not starting Right. Green Screen or Black Screen Fixed!!!

Hi, I've been messing around with the Xbox One cause i just had to fix it. so sometimes it stays in the green Xbox One logo screen, at times it may transfer to the black screen and then it shuts down or you get an error code. There's a couple of things you
can try to fix this problem, oooooohhhhh no worries guys ill show you.

-OK what could of cause this problem?

-----yea this problem is cause by leaving a disc inside the tray and turning it off while the system is shutting down and updating, so basically you guys shut it down while updating and messed up all the system files.

-Solution 1....

-----OK Hold the power button till it shuts down and disconnect the power cord for 30 second. This will do a basic reset which it could possibly fix your problem it ain't guaranteed.

-Solution 2...

-----OK this will sound tricky, what you need to do is this. Do Solution 1 then turn it on put a disc in preferably the last one you played, then shut down the system and turn it back on. If it stays loading, do Solution 1 with the disc still in the drive.
OK what this will do is give you an error code. After that take the disc out and try turning off and on your system. That may fix your problem it's not guaranteed.

Solution 3....

------ Connect your Xbox One directly to your modem with an Ethernet cable and let it update straight from the source.

Ultimate Solution....

--------- Call Xbox One Support and let them now how mad you are, because your system broke for no reason. What this will do is

a system replace, which they will help you with all your Xbox One issues. Just be easy on them guys all systems break.

Fixed Green Screen or Black Screen?

I called support today because I had the same problem. After talking with the tech for a few minutes he had me power down and plug my power supply directly into the outlet (he said that the power brick has its own surge protector so plugging it into one
was redundant). That did the trick. It may not solve your problem, but hopefully helps someone else. He also told me that they (Microsoft/Xbox) would send me a new one if the problem returned and that they wouldn't make me send my current one in until the
new one arrived.

I followed the instructions from an earlier thread and it seemed to work

• unplug from outlet
• unplug from back of unit (not sure it matters)
• wait 10 or so minutes
• plug back into outlet (seemed to work without a surge protector, not sure if it matters)
  
• plug it back in the back of the unit

Hopefully it works for you all too!
