    Xbox One not Showing up on Xbox App


    Hey there. I'm currently having an issue of life and/or murder with the Xbox One and app. Until tonight I have had little to no problems with the game streaming to my Surface Pro 3, but for some reason after I shut it off via the stream so we could do some
    power cord re-arranging to fit in the new Steam Link and once done I attempted to turn it back on via the Xbox app on my Surface as I have done a thousand times before. So me being me thought it might just be a connection problem and simply pressed 'Forget
    Console' on the app and turned the console back on manually. After doing this however, I discovered that the Xbox app couldn't find the Xbox. So I jumped into settings, checked my Xbox's IP and entered it into the text field. Nothing. Simply an error message
    saying it could not find the console. Since then I have tried multiple methods of fixing the problem.

    - I checked the Subnet mask on both devices to make sure they were the same.

    - Switched from wired connection to wireless connection to see if it made a difference

    - Tested both wired and wireless connections on the Xbox and they both came back fine

    - Re-named the console as an old forum told me to do

    - Installed the beta of the Xbox app on Windows 10 as a test

    - Cleared the cache via the 10 second press of the power button and unplugging the console for two minutes after shut down methods

    - Restarted and updated my Surface (The updates were Windows Defender Definition and .Net framework)

    - Disable and re-enabled the "Allow streaming" settings

    Short of completely resetting the console and having to re-install 750gb worth of games and DLC, I'm out of ideas and my rapid coffee induced googling is getting me nowhere. If anyone has any other solutions please help. Thanks.

    Amazon Instant not showing up for download

    I have a gold membership and an Amazon Prime account, but when I go into the store on my Xbox One, and search the app section, the Amazon Instant app is not showing up. I also search the whole store and it is also not showing up at all.

    Is the app no longer available? Is it just something wrong with my system?

    Hey there,

    What kind of device are you using for the Xbox app (Windows 10, iOS, Android, Windows Phone)? Is your Xbox One showing up in the Xbox app to connect to, or is your Xbox One console not showing up within the Xbox app at all? We'll need that information so
    we can provide specific steps.

    If you're on Windows 10 PC, have you tried a wired connection for both your Windows 10 PC and your Xbox One console? That is the most reliable method for connecting the Xbox app to your Xbox One console, and the results of that will help us narrow the issue
    down further.

    having the same issue where i record a clip on the xbox one and then dwonload them via the sahre section of the game dvr clips on the xbox app, but doesnt show up in the app after i download them. shows in the folder but not in the app.
