Xbox one not showing up on any streaming app

hi guys

I'm having issues streaming from my Android device to my Xbox one console, this used to work with no issues a few weeks ago, now my console doesn't show up as a possible device to connect to, I've tried numerous different apps eg. Allcast, localcast, bubble
etc none of these can detect the Xbox, I've reset the router, changed the name of the Xbox and cleared the mac address all to no avail. Is this a console update issue? I'm in the preview program.

Any help is appreciated.

streaming help please

I am trying to set up PC to xbox one streaming but everything I can find on it says I need to download the xbox video app on my xbox one, and there is no such app anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

Xbox One not Showing up on Xbox App

Hey there. I'm currently having an issue of life and/or murder with the Xbox One and app. Until tonight I have had little to no problems with the game streaming to my Surface Pro 3, but for some reason after I shut it off via the stream so we could do some
power cord re-arranging to fit in the new Steam Link and once done I attempted to turn it back on via the Xbox app on my Surface as I have done a thousand times before. So me being me thought it might just be a connection problem and simply pressed 'Forget
Console' on the app and turned the console back on manually. After doing this however, I discovered that the Xbox app couldn't find the Xbox. So I jumped into settings, checked my Xbox's IP and entered it into the text field. Nothing. Simply an error message
saying it could not find the console. Since then I have tried multiple methods of fixing the problem.

- I checked the Subnet mask on both devices to make sure they were the same.

- Switched from wired connection to wireless connection to see if it made a difference

- Tested both wired and wireless connections on the Xbox and they both came back fine

- Re-named the console as an old forum told me to do

- Installed the beta of the Xbox app on Windows 10 as a test

- Cleared the cache via the 10 second press of the power button and unplugging the console for two minutes after shut down methods

- Restarted and updated my Surface (The updates were Windows Defender Definition and .Net framework)

- Disable and re-enabled the "Allow streaming" settings

Short of completely resetting the console and having to re-install 750gb worth of games and DLC, I'm out of ideas and my rapid coffee induced googling is getting me nowhere. If anyone has any other solutions please help. Thanks.

Is the console on a wired or wireless connection? We would recommend wired if you are going to do any type of streaming from or with the console.

If that is not the issue as you are in the Insider program we recommend posting in the
Insider forums and filing a bug on the console as requested by the programs team.

This will help the info get to them faster and get those bugs worked out sooner or added to the next Preview update!
