Xbox One not seeing NAS

    Xbox One not seeing NAS


    I have a hard drive on my Netgear WNDR4000 router. My computer can see all the files on the nas hard drive, but the xbox one only sees the first folder and first file in that folder. How can I fix this?

    The Xbox One doesn't have a build-in System Video Player for browsing the content on a Nas drive. However, you can use the PlayTo functionality on a Windows 8 computer to play the music and video file from NAS to Xbox One. I followed the how

    Is there an app to see the DLNA from my NAS directly on my Xbox One ?

    Microsoft what happened to your exclusives?

    Why would you want a game to be exclusive to one console? I don't see the benifit other than to go "Na-na-na-na-na" to owners of the other console.

    DLNA != share support

    Don't expect Xbox One to ever support accessing network shares. If one's NAS has a DLNA server, that may see support. If one's NAS is just providing shares, it is unlikely that it will ever work with Xbox One.

    If the NAS is open the XBOX should see the NAS as a device from the list.

    But you need to have a DLNA enabled program running, or in the services.
