    Xbox One not running games, apps or network settings


    Hi All,

    I have a problem with my Xbox. When I select any game or app or try and play a blue ray disc I hear the sound indicating i've selected the object and nothing happens. When checking the network settings, the Xbox does the exact same thing.

    The kicker is when logged into support.xbox.com and I try and open a chat session with a support person. The web form doesn't fill my first and last name correctly ( empty) my email address is reported in the field correctly. These fields, once logged in,
    are locked. So not support chat either.

    I've reset the xbox many times and tested numerous profiles. No difference in outcome.

    Sigh at completely unusable xbox.

    PS. it is connecting to live with my account correctly as a can scroll through pages of Live apps and tv stuff.

    problems installing games on Xbox One    . Also, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?

    problems downloading games     on your Xbox One console.

    Also, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?

    Can you please go on xbox one to settings - network - run network test & multiplayer test and tell us all the results you get. Also. what are the games / apps that have low performance? Is it the same for every app/game you are using, or any exceptions?
    Are the 360 consoles connected to network as well?

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble installing Forza Horizon 4, Do you get any certain error codes or messages when the installation stops? Has any of the troubleshooting steps provided earlier helped with the issue?

    Check the speed at which your game or app is downloading please run a network speed test:

    1. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings.
    3. Select Network > Network settings > Detailed network statistics.
    I would suggest to try the solutions at Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads on Xbox One
    if the issue is persisting.
