Xbox One not registering my voice chat in party/game ?

I noticed my xbox stereo headset cut out on me and I wasn't able to hear anyone in the party chat i disconnected my mic and it said 'microphone not found for these people' despite me having my microphone in previously & a kinect connected which should technically
switch to a microphone once the headset has be taken out. My controller is up to date, connection is perfectly fine and my stereo headset still picks up in game volume so its not the mics fault for sure. I go into a private party and notice my voice is registered
up until someone joins or i join another party, I've never had this issue on 360 so im confused how a 'next gen' console is having this problem, ive turned the console off and on multiple ways and times, taken out the headset, checked Connection several times
and reset router, totally confused. Anyone have any ideas ?? Because im all out atm!

Xbox one headset not working

So I haven't had much issues until now. My headset was working perfectly a few hours ago but now I am unable to chat to my friends in party or game chat. The headset isn't registering my voice. The mute button and volume buttons are both fully functional,
yet my voice can't be heard. Hard resetting and resyncing the controller to the console has made no difference.

Microphone issue on xbox app with windows 10

When I am in an Xbox live party my microphone shows always active but is not picking up my voice. My friends, also in the party chat, tell me they hear a loud, high pitched static noise. My microphone works just fine in other voice chats, game chats, etc.
without changing any wiring from my headset to the computer. I'm using an Xbox one turtle beach headset connected to an audio/microphone splitter into the computer. I've also tried changing devices in the party chat settings to no avail.

At the moment, I am using a usb headset through pc. Party chats on the app work, and parties on xbox I see, through the stream, register my mic. But it doesn't transmit my voice. Which is why I'm extra confused.

Yes I connected them directly, controllers are up to date, I can hear audio and voice chat, same with the new headset, it's only the mic that isn't registering, I test it in party chat showing my headset is connected, it doesn't highlight when I talk even
in game chat

Xbox uses voice chat (party chat). There is no text chat in Roblox on Xbox One. It was removed awhile back.
