    i own a xbox one x and a sony kdl 43we750 a full hd tv capable of doing HDR. the cables i use are the ones provided with the xbox, i used different cables, i checked all my settings which are correct, yet my xbox doesnt recognise my tv is capable of using
    HDR.

    i tried everything and i'm at a loss. could the problem be my tv?

    One major issue to look out for is that on a lot of 4K HDR TVs when using HDR the input lag is very high and therefore terrible for gaming, a lot of TVs won't even recognise HDR content in game mode!!

    If you have tried the cables and still go, check the tv entry, some there are specific outputs to have that kind of image you want.
