Xbox One not Receiving Power

    Xbox One not Receiving Power


    HI Everyone

    So a few weeks ago my Xbox One wasn't receiving power so I went through the trouble shooter that Microsoft provides and it didn't help. So I called support and they told me that I need to buy a new power supply brick. Well I bought the brick and I am still
    having issues.

    The power supply is plugged into the One and when I plug the supply into the wall outlet the orange light comes on for a second and dies. I have tried this with multiple outlets and I get the same result. The one is not plugged into a power strip and there
    were no power surges or anything when this problem first arose. Its seems as if something in the One itself is unable to sustain a charge or it is pulling too much power and killing the brick. I am not too sure.

    Any help or suggestions?

    Power cable not receiving any power

    I bought my Xbox One in London UK, then used it for 2 years in Lebanon and as soon as i connected it in Venezuela, the power cable didnt even show the orange light. Should it just buy a new power cable? Is there any chance that my console was damaged from
    the voltage difference?

    Xbox One not Receiving Power

    It seems yo me that this issue is caused by the hardware failure of your console so it will be better if you send that console for repairs. You can register your console and file fore repairs here:

    support.xbox.com/.../getting-your-product-serviced

    Hi, give this a shot please.

    Power off the xbox, remove the power cable, press the power button on the xbox several times, reconnect the power cable, remove the mains power to your receiver, wait 30 seconds and power up the receiver and power the xbox on. Does that help any ?

    Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having. When are you receiving this error message? If you haven't already, be sure to give your Xbox One a full power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox ONe powers off.

    X1 keeps reverting to 7.1

    Had the same issue when turned off, xbox one audio setting reverts to 7.1 uncompressed. Resolved using Logitech Harmony One controller by changing power on options to: 1>Receiver, 2>TV, 3>Xbox. In summary power on xbox one last.
